Manual Control Natural Gas Log Pilot Light Assembly

This is a natural gas pilot light assembly used with most manual control, variable flame height and electronic ignition ventless gas log sets. Comes with thermocouple and mounting bracket as shown in the picture above. Please see our Cleaning Gas Logs page before purchasing to make sure you really need to replace this part. We do not accept return on these type of parts unless its defective. Make sure you check your gas type before ordering. If you have questions please contact us.

Steps to install new pilot light assembly.

1. Turn the gas off and remove the logs from the burner.
2. Remove the two screws that fasten the pilot light to the burner.
3. Follow the thermocouple wire from the pilot assembly to the gas control valve and unscrew the wire from the valve using a 5/16" wrench.
4. Disconnect the gas supply line & ignition wire going to the pilot assembly.
5. Replace with new pilot assembly
6. Turn the gas on once all connections have been made and light the new pilot and check for leaks.
7. Reinstall the logs onto the burner (Make sure the logs are in the correct position)

Note: When connecting the thermocouple wire to the valve tighten finger tight and then use a wrench and tighten another 1/4 turn.
