Three cast stainless steel E-shaped burners deliver a combined 90,000 BTUs across 792 square inches of primary cooking area — enough room and heat to sear steaks, run a full cookout, and hold even temperatures edge to edge. The patented Diamond Sear cooking grids use a wide, trapezoidal profile that pulls heat off the burners and spreads it across the food, while stainless flavor grids let drippings vaporize for flavor and shield the burners from flare-ups. An adjustable warming rack keeps finished food hot, and reliable hot-surface ignition lights the burners quickly, with a manual backup for the rare miss.

Every panel is welded 304 stainless steel, from the seamless control face to the double-walled, spring-assisted hood that opens a full 90 degrees. A heavy analog thermometer is set into the hood with an angled bezel so you can read the temperature at a glance without lifting the lid. Back-lit LED control knobs shift from blue to red as you turn up the heat, two interior halogen lights keep the cooking surface visible after dark, and a disposable drip-tray system makes cleanup simple.

The matching 790-SC24 base is built from the same premium stainless steel and designed specifically for 36-inch Aurora and Echelon 790 grill heads. It adds soft-close double drawers and a soft-close storage door for tools and supplies, fold-down twin side shelves for prep space, and the mobility to roll it where you need it. A tank ring holder is included, with an optional sliding tank tray available separately for easier propane-tank access.
