This power supply / transformer is for use with Fire Magic Aurora series 110 volt hot surface ignition side burners, power burners and searing stations. You will only need this power supply if a 110 volt hot surface ignition side burner, power burner or searing station will not be installing in-conjunction with an Aurora series grill. This power supply can also be used when the burner is being placed far away from the grill as well.
If a 110 volt hot surface ignition burner will be installing in-conjunction with an Aurora series grill you will not need this power supply.
