The reason Vented Fire Logs look so good is they burn the gas dirty. A flame burned under a lower oxygen level turns to a yellow flame which look more realistic. The glowing embers found on these units add to the realism. They are also the most flexible and can be moved around and positioned many different ways, remote controls are available along with other accessories like embers, branches and pine cones.
