Circulating Fireboxes have opened, standard flat black louvers for maximum heat distribution. Empire offers many mantels, bases and laminate or stone surrounds to customize the look of your circulating firebox.

The new dual face model comes as a non-circulating firebox. This model can be converted into a circulating firebox by replacing the clean faceplate with louvers in flat black, black porcelain or polished brass.
